This is one of Baxter's favorite and wonderfully strange guitars to come through the shop in a long time. Everything about this guitar screams power, perfection, bass, bass, and more bass! This is a truly fun guitar to play. The overtones are very rich due to the Lutz top and the mid range and bass are fantastically balanced.

The amazing Taylor Limited Edition 316e Baritone-8 adds an exuberant, versatile voice to your sonic palette that’s also delightfully accessible. This 8-string Grand Symphony baritone is tuned B to B, blending its natural husky tonal register with two additional octave strings (coursed with the third and fourth strings) that add just a splash of 12-string-like shimmer. The guitar’s lower register sits nicely under vocals, letting you comfortably hit notes that might otherwise be hard to reach — all without having to transpose or retune. And if you want to play in standard tuning, simply place a 12-string capo on the fifth fret. If you’re looking to expand your musical horizons or revitalize your playing or songwriting, the Taylor Limited Edition 316e Baritone-8 is an inspiring addition to your guitar arsenal.
