The 1954 Stratocaster is not just special for being the first year of the Stratocaster but also from the Custom Shop in that these only come out every 10 years! If you are looking for a 1954 build you can only get one during these rare windows once per decade. 
This stunner is one of the most beautiful we have seen as well. Sorted for a wonderfully light weight piece of ash and paired with an outstanding finish of aged desert tan over a perfectly applied 2-tone sunburst, prepare to be blown away. 

The hand wound 54 pups are also only available on this year build and they really are unique and wonderful in their composition. There is a very vintage and woody tone to these underfund beauties that we could not get enough of. This is a very unique sounding instrument and we are in true love with what these pickups do and allow for!

The hand carved neck is also an amazing feat of craftsmanship. One of the only neck carves that must be done without a template of any sort, the shape is passed down between just a small select handful of master craftsman that can handle the task. It truly is a work of functional art that we cannot get enough of.
