We are always blown away hen a guitar this light arrives at our door. But we should really add to that with how impressed we were with how light, resonant, and amazing this guitar actually is. Light doesn't always equal good but when all of the forces align...magic!
This particular instrument was designed awhile back by our team here and we could not be any happier with how she turned out!
As we said, this guitar is built from a hand selected ultra light piece of Ashand relic'd to perfection in a natural finish with the thinnest of nitro coating. We made sure to put our number one set of pickups in this perfect piece of wood. The neck is a Custom Shop Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover and the bridge is the CS Hand-wound Blackguard pickup! Together these two pickups perform magic and separately they are both the cream of the crop as far as pups go! The neck is warm and responsive with a lot more gumminess than the Antiquity while the bridge pup has a real bark to her. She is the most rock n roll "vintage" sounding pickup we have ever heard and she really does the job.
Add a 10/56 "V" neck carve with a 7.25" to 9.50" radius (perfectly aged as well) you really have a perfect playing platform to perform on. We had the 47095 medium vintage frets added to the mix to make sure this was a mean and lean rock n roll machine!
If you are looking for an HS telecaster or didn't even know you were, this may be one of the best examples we have ever seen.
