Aged to perfection... great Scott fender has done it again! This Aged Tahitian Coral Strat has been a knock out since it hit our shop! We nearly had to steal it from Jonathans hand for the photos. Here we have a Strat full of spirit and sonic possibilities with an alder body and a set of extra juiced Hand-wound Fat 50's! The Fat 50 pickups bring out all of the woody tone from said alder, with a touch of glassy on the rock and roll for you. The other great pairing to the sound of this instrument is the best part for this guitarist... the 10/56 V shaped neck. The alter of V shaped necks is not built upon hype, and this guitar is a great example to make us all believers. With a firm shape for the center of our palms, and a rounded edge for our thumbs to leverage a nearly exceptional barre chord; it is no wonder this neck shape gets all the praise it deserves. What pairs better than all that tone and a great feeling neck? A relic'd to the edge of break-up finish, of course! We find this to be the chefs kiss of a hand crafted instrument of this caliber.
