Let's just cut to the chase here. If you are looking for a small neck on your Stratocaster, this is not the guitar for you! This piece has a large and wonderful 1951 "U" shaped neck and makes no apologies for having very healthy shoulders to her. And with that large neck, comes large responsibilities...and TONE! This guitar is a true screamer and if you are a Rock N Roll or Blues man, this might be the heaven sent guitar for you!The Hand-wound Poblano Pickups allow for an amazing amount of tonally flexibility as well!Going from a smooth "vintage" style tonality to a roaring and searing single coil sound, these pups handle it all! The sustain alone on this guitar made us question whether we were playing a Les Paul or Stratocaster for a moment.
Equipped with the jumbo frets and a wonderfully comfortable 9.50" radius, this is as easy on the hands as she is on the eyes. And coming in right at 7.50 pounds, she is a marvelously well balanced piece to handle such a tonal power play. Now do not forget though, this guitar is not for the feint of large necks...this one has a monster on her. But if you are brave enough to tame her, you may have one proud steed to ride into battle!
