Mr. Fessler may have outdone himself with this gorgeous NOS hardtail '62 Strat. It's got one of the craziest 4A birdseye necks we've ever seen. The pictures don't do it justice because it's positively beyond 3D in person. There almost seems to be a combination of birdseye and flame on the back of the neck for a truly unique look and vibe.

The gold pickguard pops in just the right way against the Dakota Red body, but the real story of this guitar isn't as easy to spot. The neck is a 24.75" scale length instead of the typical 25.5" found on most Fender guitars. It's got a 12" radius and a 1.6875" nut width with 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets. The pickups are one of our favorite combos, consisting of a HW '69 in the neck, a HW Fat 50s in the middle, and a HW Texas Special in the bridge. Having such a wide range of pickups takes this guitar from versatile to near all encompassing on the tone spectrum, and yet somehow they all seem to bend seamlessly together.
