Yup and Yes Sir! That was the first thing out of everyone' mouth when this one revealed herself to us. What have the masters at Fender sent us and yes oh yes please. A beautiful wide fade burst, check. An outrageously awesome pickup pairing...no problem. Oh, can you throw in, I don't know...a Bigsby...why not?
This is the dream guitar from history with the kitchen sink thrown in and we are darned thrilled about it. Let's just get into that neck pickup...squishy, perfect, goodness there. Fender has gotten it down with their new CUNIFE pickups. They did their homework and worked out the right combo in vintage materials to really bring back the perfect wide range Humbucker. I haver always been an antiquity man with a bucker on a tele but this may change those ways. And then when you pari the screaming vintage bridge pickup in there...perfect! This is a honky tonk, rock n rolling, jazzman on fire, tonal monster that is a feat on the hands and ears...oh and the eyes.
